Allow product to acclimate to work-site temperature. Cover the windows to prevent sunlight from coming in. Seal off work area to protect from outside contaminates. Shake the gallon of finish vigorously for one minute to mix up. Pour a line of finish along the length of the wall with the grain of the wood. Pad out to the edge of the wall. Easy Finish can be spread with a T-bar, lambs wool /synthetic, roller, or brush. Make sure to feather out all turns. Repeat this process until the area you are working on is complete. If you see an area you missed, you can touch it up right away. Allow 1-3 hours to dry depending on conditions; you can test with a moisture meter. At this time, a second coat of finish can be applied without abrasion if applied within 24 hours. If excessive grain raise is evident, it may be necessary to screen between the 1st and 2nd finish coat. A third coat of finish for high traffic commercial areas is optional. An intercoat abrasion step before applying the topcoat will result in a much smoother final surface. When abrasion is necessary, it is best to use a maroon pad with 220 grit sanding strips between coats.

After a skim has filmed over the floor you can turn your ventilation system back on. Keep traffic off the floor for at least 24 hours. A full cure time is 8 days. Area rugs may be placed after full cure time. Use only the proper padding recommended by the padding manufacture to prevent staining or discoloration to your hardwood floor. If you need to replace the furniture before the full cure time, do so gently using protective padding. Clean with dampened cloth only after the full cure time.
